According to a study conducted by Dexur analysts, Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center averaged Nevada's lowest length of stay for a 30-day episode of care with unplanned readmissions for patients with nutritional and metabolic disorders at just 3.17 days. This was the lowest of any Nevada hospital by nearly 0.4 days as Desert Springs Hospital and Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center tied for 2nd. They each had an average LOS of 3.46 days. Banner Churchill Community Hospital had an average LOS of 3.63 days, ranking 4th. Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center came in just behind them in 5th at 3.65 days. Hospitals ranked 6th through 10th are shown in the graph below. These hospitals with the lowest 30-day episode of care average LOS all had values below the state average of 4.15 days.
