Dexur analyzed Jan 2016 to Dec 2018 Medicare claims data to rank hospitals by Revenue per Day for Heart Failure Hospitalizations. Revenue per day is calculated by summing all Medicare revenue and dividing by the total patient days in the hospital. Optimizing for revenue per day can promote the triple aim of better care, better health, and lower cost.
