Dexur utilized the Medicare Claims data from 2015 to 2019, to analyze the performance of Bethel Health Care Center, Connecticut, vis-à-vis its revenue per day. The study revealed a significant growth of 18.65 percent in the revenue per day recorded for the third quarter of the skilled nursing facility in comparison to the same quarter of 2015.

From the graph below, it can be observed that during the period under consideration, total stays exhibit a downward trend, with the metric spiraling down from its highest value of 279 stays in Q3 2015 to its lowest of 168 stays in Q3 2019. The revenue per day, on the other hand, predominantly exhibits an upward trend; after a drastic increase from $520 in Q3 2015 to $598 in Q3 2016, only minor fluctuations are recorded in the next two years. Thereafter, the revenue per stay again presents a steep growth curve from $589 in Q3 2018 to $617 in Q3 2019.
