Dexur analyzed Medicare Claims data for the second quarter, from 2016 to 2019, and revealed that AT Home Care in Richmond, Virginia, witnessed an 18.33% rise in their episode volume in Q2 2019, as compared to Q2 2016. While the total episodes at the facility were 1,282 in Q2 2016, by the same quarter in 2019, it increased to 1,517.

Although the total episodes decreased to 1,256 in Q2 2017, this decline was only marginal. In fact, post 2017, a sharp increase was observed in terms of episode volume; from a total of 1,256 episodes in Q2 2017, the facility reached 1,433 episodes by Q2 2018, which itself is a 14% increase. According to Dexur’s analysis, this home health agency ranked number one in Virginia for overall case volume for the period between October 2016 and September 2019. They also released data on the other top-ranking home health agencies in the state, including Inova Home Health and Encompass Home Health of Virginia.
