South Shore Hospital saw over 100 discharges more than the next highest volume hospital for digestive disorders, Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Baystate accounted for 293 discharges during the timeframe to rank 2nd in Massachusetts and UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester saw 286 discharges, ranking 3rd highest in volume.
