Dexur analysts studied all psychoses discharges for Medicare inpatients in 2016 and found that Dr. Jennifer Reth Giampaolo of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas accounted for the lowest average length of stay out of all Dallas – Fort Worth area physicians at 6.1 days. Dr. Writtika Roy of Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South in Burleson reported a 6.5 day average length of stay (LOS) and was the only other physician in the region, along with Dr. Giampaolo, with an average LOS under one week. The 3rd through 5th ranking physicians all practiced at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas along with Dr. Giampaolo; Dr. Bashir Ahmed ranked 3rd with an average length of stay of 7.1 days, Dr. Kala Jordan Bailey ranked 4th with an average length of stay of 7.2 days and Dr. Tania Amin ranked 5th with a 7.6 day average LOS. These five physicians were the only physicians in the region to account for an average length of stay under eight days.
