Beaumont Health extends throughout Michigan as the largest healthcare system in both inpatient admissions and net revenue. In total, the entire not-for-profit health network consists of 8 hospitals, 168 health centers, and employs almost 5,000 physicians and 35,000 staff. The subset Beaumont Health System is a regional health system composed of three hospitals in Royal Oak, Troy, and Grosse Pointe. Based on Dexur's data analyses, the Royal Oak and Troy campuses are the highest volume hospitals overall in Michigan. Located in Oakland county, these two hospitals combined account for 8.52% of Michigan's total Medicare inpatient discharges, as determined as shown in the table below.
