I was very fortunate to have Dr. Sah replace both of my hips; the first 7 years ago, the second about a month ago. Both went very well. I have never had any problems with the first hip, it never hurts. I was able to return to a very active lifestyle after a short recovery. I'm still amazed how perfect it feels. The right hip began hurting about a year ago. I limped around, took Ibuprofen and babied it until it was clear that it wasnt getting any better. Dr. Sah and his staff (all very competent and so kind) walked me through the whole process, and the experience was as amazing as the first. The second hip was done using the anterior approach. It is healing ar least as fast as the first one, the pain was gone almost immediately in both cases. The post surgery hip precautions (6-8 weeks) are less stringent following the anterior approach, which is a plus. I will always be grateful to doctor Sah for changing my life; he is truly the best of the best.
