Dexur analyzed the Medicare Claims data between October 2016 and September 2019 to list the top ten hospitals that contributed the highest number of stays to Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque. During this period, the study revealed that Presbyterian Hospital accounted for the maximum number of stays at the skilled nursing facility located in New Mexico. By referring a total of 901 stays during the three years, the hospital’s referrals constitute almost 39 percent of the total stays recorded at the facility. Between October 2018 and September 2019 alone, the nursing home registered 351 stays from Presbyterian Hospital, which constitutes an overwhelming share of 44.5 percent of the total stays during this period.

During the period under consideration, 25.27 percent of the total SNF stays referred by the hospital have been registered at the facility. Of this, the majority of cases pertain to patients seeking post-acute care following hip and knee replacement treatments. The other top referring hospitals of the nursing facility are Lovelace Medical Center, and UNM Hospital, which contributed 901 and 448 stays, respectively.
